Pay My Connecticut Light & Power Bill

Pay Online: Connecticut Light & Power offers an online account service. This service offers various account management tools and features, and you can also pay your bills with online direct debit. You can also schedule future payments up to 30 days in advance, or establish and automatic payment schedule. There are no fees to pay for this service, and your payment will post to your account within two business days. Pay Online with Credit Card: Through the third party service JP Morgan Chase Pay Connexions, you can make a one-time utility bill payment online with your credit card. There is a service fee of $3.50 (up to payments of $500) which will be added to your credit card bill.
Pay by Phone: It is simple to pay over the phone, and unlike other utilities there is no fee involved for doing so. Call 888-783-6618.
Pay by Mail: The Connecticut Light & Power bill payment mailing address is: Connecticut Light & Power, P.O. BOX 650032, Dallas, TX 75265-0032. Make checks and money orders payable to CL&P. Please include your CL&P account number on your check. Your account number is located on your statement. To ensure your CL&P payment is received on time it is recommended that you mail your payment at least 5 business days prior to the due date shown on your monthly billing statement.
Pay in Person: There are plenty of authorized payment agents located across Connecticut, as well as non-authorized payment agents. Authorized payment agents do not charge a service fee, so these are the ones to look out for. A full list of payment agents is available at the CL&P website.
